The Beauty of West Virginia

I was having a conversation with a friend recently about how photographs of West Virginia are underrepresented on deviantART. I dug through the archives for days looking for some of the best West Virginia photographs I could find so that I can share with you all the beauty that I see every day living here.

Some of these are more obvious well-known sites, from the highly photographed Grist Mill at Babcock State Park to the instantly recognizable New River Gorge Bridge. Some of them, however, are lesser known, but just as spectacular, such as our wildlife and wildflowers.

I hope you take some time to visit these photographs and maybe even see some other West Virginia sites that I did not include.
